Chocobos

Hot & Cold

Playing Hot & Cold will allow you to obtain Chocographs which will in

turn help you find some really good treasures and if you are going to

collect all of the cards this is another side quest that you must definitely

do. The first place to play Hot & Cold is in the Chocobo Forest near

Lindblum. When you find all of the Chocographs there and find the

treasures one of the boxes will transform your chocobo into a better

one. One that can get to the Chocobo Lagoon. The Chocobo Lagoon is

located in a cave near the bottom of the map, south of the Forbidden

Continent. When you do the same thing there as in the Chocobo

Forest you will be able to go the the Chocobo Air Garden. The Air

Garden doesn't have a set location but it floats around 5 points. They

are: The ocean in the middle of all of the continents, NE edge of the

Mist Continent, SE edge of the Outer Continent, Island near Daguerreo,

Eastern edge of the Forbidden Continent. Now you can have a complete

collection of Chocographs. When you go to Chocobo's Paradise at the

corner of the map, the chocobos will tell you that you haven't found all

of the treasures and that you need to find cracks and foaming water.

That brings us to the next section.

Cracks and Foaming Water

You will recognize these places when you see them but you will need to

use a dead pepper to obtain the treasure. Here's where they are:

Crack on the Eastern Lost Continent

Crack North of Oeilvert

Crack on NE Forgotten Continent

Foaming Water Below Quan's Dwelling

Foaming Water North of the Iifa Tree (Very top of the Map)

Foaming Water around southern Forgotten Continent

Foaming Water Between the Outer and Mist Continents (East)

Formor Location of Shimmering Island (Disc 4)

Now when you go back to Chocobo's Paradise, the Fat chocobo will tell

Choco that he can stay and he will give you a Fat Chocobo card. Don't

worry though, Choco will stay with you until the end.
