Getting to the Arena

The first time you go to the arena you have no choice whether to go or not, but after that, you will have other chances to go and you will have more options. When you are on the 2nd disc you can still go to the battle arena. All that you have to do is go to Nortune.

Things to do in the Arena

When you are at the arena on the 2nd disc, you will have the option to do special battles where you can win points. With these points you can buy various items, some of which you can find no where else. It works pretty much like the battle square in FF7.

Another thing you will be able to do is play battles where you can choose any gear for yourself and any gear for one of your friends or the computer. If you defeat every single one of the gears, you will obtain some new gears that you will be able to use in the arena. One very special gear can be obtained by going to the place right before fighting Deus and then talking to a gear that will let you outside. When you go to the battle arena you will see that you can now use El Regurus.
